The 3 C's of Life
Choices. Chances. Changes.
You must make the choice to take a chance, or your life will never change.

Life is too short to not make a difference in the lives of your students. That is one of the main reasons I am striving to be the best teacher and educator I can be. I would love to make a change in children's lives so that they may see a brighter tomorrow. To the right are some things I have created that represent my passion for teaching.
Throughout my life, I have been involved in many different organizations and have taken on numerous leadership positions. At the age of thirteen I began my community service at a church in my hometown by holding a position as a PREP teacher's aid. During my senior year of high school, I was a lead fourth grade teacher in the program. By fourteen, I began coaching gymnastics and running gymnastics-based birthday parties at a local YMCA. I later held a management position at 5Below as part of the overnight freight crew. During my time at Albright, I managed to find my home in Phi Mu Fraternity. After just a few short months of becoming a Sister, I took on the position of the sorority's Secretary. I was reelected, and held the position until Spring 2015. I began working at Mama's Pizza in April of 2014 and am currently working there as a manager/key holder. I graduated from Albright College in May of 2015 with a B.S. in Chemistry. I am currently in the process of obtaining Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate as well as my M.S. degree in Secondary Education. A copy of my transcript is available upon request. |
Every teacher is bound to have his/her own philosophy of education. The file above is my perspective on teaching and the role that a teacher should play in each and every child's life.
The above file is an up-to-date copy of my resume. I have accomplished many goals, explored many aspects of "teaching," such as being a teacher's aid and lead teacher in a PREP program, gymnastics coach, student teacher, peer tutor for Albright College, and a Laboratory Assistant, and held multiple leadership positions.
My blog focuses on reflections from educational Twitter chats that I have participated in. I also post links to other technology related items that I create. Blogs could easily be incorporated into the classroom by posting student assignments and displaying examples of students' work (anonymously, of course).
